Action Speaks Summit Now Open at New York Climate Week 2023
The Action Speaks Summit opened at the New York Climate Week earlier this week. If you are in New York or visiting for the Climate Week, come by, we are open only till 24th September.
Over the last couple of months we at Superflux have been working with our commissioner at The Ingka Group (IKEA), their partners Time CO2 and Project Drawdown, and a brilliant team of creative collaborators, to conceive, design and produce the Action Speaks Summit – a two storey multi-sensory experience and exhibition space.
Bringing together over 30 actions, initiatives, products and processes that are already in motion around the globe, the summit showcases radical projects that foreground systemic, positive shifts in how we eat, move, make, grow and power. Covering everything from Fukuoka’s no-till farming to Seneca Solar’s renewable energy products developed by Native communities, SSAB AB’s fossil-free steel and AMP’s AI powered robotic waste sorting systems, the exhibition offers a glimpse into a climate-positive future and how to get there.
Our 15 years of work in the field has proven that when people can tangibly feel that positive futures are possible and plausible, they will enact them. So, we brought that expertise in experiential future design to the Action Speaks Summit. We hope that in this crucial week, leaders from all walks of life will make long-term decisions that prioritise collective flourishing.
Visit Action Speaks at 999 3rd Ave, New York, and the full programme can be found here.
