Stefan is a design intern at Superflux.

Having studied for four years at the Design Investigations studio at the University of applied arts Vienna, Stefan acquired working knowledge and a broad skillset in all things speculative design.

Together with the rest of the creative team at Superflux, he will deepen his understanding of storytelling and futuring through a variety of different projects. These range from interactive workshops, to prototyping and worldbuilding.

A strong focus on storytelling is key to his practice, with past projects orbiting around themes of digital and analog archiving, data preservation and ecologies.
Stefan believes in the strength of traditional narratives, fusing together mythology and folklore to string together evocative, inspiring and at times personal stories.

Apart from his training at the University of applied arts in Vienna, Stefan has undergone a semester of learning at the Design Academy Eindhoven, and participated in a workshop on interactive multimedia art at the University of fine arts Vilnius.
